	Diwali Festival October 17th - 21st The Hindu Festival of Lights, which marks the beginning of the lunar new year. Symbolically, Diwali represents an escape from darkness - the festival allows Hindus to focus on the true and positive values of life. It is the biggest celebration in the Hindu calendar.
