Diwali Collection

Diwali, the Indian Festival of Lights, is the biggest annual Hindu festival. Rapidly becoming known beyond Hindu society, it is gaining a reputation as a time when anyone with a love of Indian food can indulge and share their passion by treating family and friends to a Diwali feast at home.

Food has always been a significant part of any Diwali celebration, whether it is in the form of gifts, feasting or religious offerings. And although the importance of food remains, the way Diwali is celebrated has changed.

This year, Patak's, the expert on authentic Indian Food, is offering new recipes. Anjali Pathak, the next generation of the Pathak food dynasty, has created a collection of traditional and contemporary Diwali dishes. Anjali has drawn inspiration from her mother, Meena, on traditional Indian food, while the contemporary dishes absorb British influences. So whether it's a traditional Indian feast you're after, or, a more modern day Diwali treat, there are plenty of recipes to choose from.
