Ingredients
- 2 cups yellow lentils, washed
- 1 litre water
- 1 tsp chimeric
- ½ tbsp Balti Curry Paste
- 1 tbsp clarified butter or vegetable oil
- 1 garlic clove, chopped
- ½ tbsp. Balti Curry Paste
- 1 tomato, chopped
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of sugar
- ½ lemon juice
- Fresh chopped coriander

Directions
- Put lentils into a pot with 1 litre of water. Add chimeric and ½ tbsp Balti Curry Paste. Let it cook for ½ hour.
Oil Float:
- Heat the clarified butter in a pan. Add the chopped garlic, the other ½ tbsp. of curry paste, and sprinkle with water.
- When the oil separates from the spices, add chopped tomato, stir and leave it to cook for 2 minutes.
- When lentils are soft and completely broken down, add oil float mixture.
- Add a pinch each of salt and sugar. Add the juice of half a lemon and some chopped fresh coriander. Stir and serve.
