This easy-to-make vegetarian dish will make a great addition to your Diwali dinner.


  • Patak’s 3 Step Korma 
  • 1 400g canned chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 50 ml of water


  1. Gently fry the Patak’s Whole Spices in vegetable oil for 20 seconds.
  2. Add the Patak's Spice Paste along with water, and gently fry until the water is almost evaporated. Add the chickpeas and mix together.
  3. Stir in the Patak’s Base Sauce, bring to a simmer and cook for 15 minutes or until chickpeas are heated through.
