Ingredients

  • 1 jar Patak’s Butter Chicken cooking sauce
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 2 skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 3-4 naan bread pieces
  • 2 cups cheese, shredded & divided
  • 1 1/2 cup spinach
  • 1/4 cup sliced red onion
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes, cut in half
  • salt, oil

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 400°F.
  2. Stir together Butter Chicken cooking sauce, yogurt, garlic and salt.
  3. Mix 3 tbsp (45 ml) of the yogurt sauce with chicken pieces; set aside remaining yogurt sauce.
  4. Cover and marinate chicken for 15 minutes.
  5. Cook marinated chicken pieces for 5-8 minutes until no longer pink inside.
  6. Spread reserved yogurt sauce over 3-4 naans. Sprinkle naans with 1 cup of cheese. 
  7. Layer the spinach, onion, cherry tomatoes (cut side up), and cooked chicken.
  8. Top with the remaining cheese.
  9. Bake directly on the oven rack for 10 to 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbling.
  10. Remove from the oven and let sit for 2 to 3 minutes before serving.
