  • 1 French-bread baguette, cut into 1/2 inch thick slices
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Cheese of your choice (sliced gouda, spreadable blue cheese, brie)
  • 1 jar Patak's Mango Chutney
  • A few sprigs of thyme or herb of your choice


  1. Cut bread in approx. 1/2 inch slices diagonally and place on a baking sheet
  2. Brush both sides of the bread with olive oil and bake until golden brown, approx. 4-5 minutes per side
  3. Assemble the sandwiches by spreading the chutney on one side
  4. Top with cheese
  5. Garnish with a sprig of thyme (optional)
