Sesame Sausages in Chutney and Mustard

Golden brown sausages mixed with sesame, chutney and mustard. Add a hollowed bread bowl and mustard mayo for added appeal.


  • 24 cocktail sausages
  • 1/2 jar of wholegrain mustard
  • 1/2 a jar of Patak's Sweet Mango Chutney. Want it spicier? Use Patak's Hot Mango Chutney instead.
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 cottage loaf, hollowed out (optional)
  • 1 small jar of mayonnaise


  1. Bake the sausages in a non-stick oven tray until they start to turn golden brown.
  2. 10 minutes before the end of cooking, mix the chutney, mustard and sesame seeds with the sausages and return to the oven to finish cooking. Remove when cooked through, golden brown and sticky.


This is great served with a mustard mayo. Prepare the mustard mayo by mixing a tbsp of mustard and chutney with 6-8 tbsp of mayonnaise. Adjust to taste.
